It looked like a huge chunk of cliff left of the Over The Hill area calved off sometime last week, splintering trees and sending rock and debris hundreds of feet down the boulderfield. Pretty sobering stuff, certainly so if you've ever examined the cliff high above Chockstone-to-Xanadu, or the Hot Spur area, or the Great Zot, or...............

Holy rockslide Batman!! We were just up at Over the Hill area a week or two ago, before the rains started!! Definitely sobering!! Hot Spur just looks like a drop of water will send the whole thing down!! The N. Umberland Crack has got to be one of the chossy-est routes I've climbed. Thanks for the Info ECSP and Steve!!
