Description
Arguably, one of the most popular and well known of the bouldering destinations at Powerlinez, the Rock Dojo is a nice, quiet, compact area with a lot of boulder problems. Everything from vertical Highballs, to slab, to overhangs, the Rock Dojo has it.
Getting There
There are two options to getting here;
-While walking on the main trail into the powerlinez, make the sharp left and walk past all the "Welcome Boulders" on the right, which include Flight From Doom Boulder and Oliphant Boulder. Once you reach a fork in the road, the right side fork will go slightly uphill under power lines and the left side fork will continue on. Both paths can lead you to the Rock Dojo.
---If you choose to go right at the fork and go uphill, this path will lead you above the Rock Dojo so when the path starts to turn left and downward, continue going left as if you are walking back the way you came, and you will hit Rock Dojo.
---If you choose to go left, which takes longer and is fairly unnecessary as there are barely any boulders to stop at in between, then continue until you reach a large gravel opening where the trail will trend left and head downward on a fairly steep slope. DO NOT go down the trail, instead, turn right and you will see the trail continues up a hill and once up, Rock Dojo is about 150 feet directly in front of you along the cliff.
