Rock Climbing Mt. Kenya in Rainy Season

I will be in Kenya in late April/early May and would like to climb Mt. Kenya since I'll already be there, but all the info I've found lists Apr./May as the two months of rainy season and does not include these as possible climbing dates.

Does anyone have any information about rock climbing on Mt. Kenya during the raining season? Does the rainy season there mean technical climbing is out?

All I know is that it's No Picnic on Mt. Kenya.

Hey Perigo. I've looked a lot at climbing Mt Kenya and I've been there in the rainy season. I wouldn't totally put it out of your mind, as there can be miracle perfect days but I wouldn't plan your trip around the mountain either.

If you haven't contacted the Mountain Club of Kenya yet, I'd recommend it for the best info: mck.or.ke/
