Description

As the name implies, this is one of the more accesible walls at NJC, and is impressive for it's steep south face that looks something akin to a breaking wave of stone.

Routes on the main (south) face range from 5.11a to 5.12d and tend to be fairly steep with mostly good holds that require some technique and bouldering skills. There are a couple of easier lines (5.7 and 5.9) on the backside (north-facing) for those who find the main face a bit much.

Clumsy (5.12a), Lost In The Middle (5.12b) and You Get What You Deserve (5.12d) are some of the better routes on this wall.

Getting There

Pass the White Face on your left (if coming from the highway) and continue south towards the main area until a sizeable formation appears on your left - this is the Roadside Crag.
