Description Suggest change

A nice change of pace, Roadside Chimney makes for an easy and quick climb on your way to other areas, or a worthwhile stop on it's own if you like chimneys.

Scramble up onto the block at the mouth of the chimney and dive right in. Chimney your way into the depths of the boulder and take either a tight, low line under the chockstones, or a wider, more awkward line between them. Work your way back and up until you emerge from the chimney on top of the boulder. Walk off on large fallen log or downclimb.

Location Suggest change

Left off the road that goes by Round Pond. Perhaps 100 feet uphill from the sign for the Round Pond Boulder area. Look for an obvious chimney crack in a house sized boulder.

Protection Suggest change

None, but the chimneying is secure and you'd probably get stuck before you hit anything really solid if you fell.
