It is patrolled by Groton Utilities and they have been giving climbers verbal warnings about climbing on these road side areas.

Description

An 18' cliff band. This area is just down the road from Area 1 heading towards Groton on the Sandy Hollow Rd. It is a little less featured than most of the walls in Ledyard, but it does have lots of big slopers in often highball situations. Park across the street in the dirt pull out.
