| Yup, I'll second that. Ran up Longs yesterday and it looked great. If you're going over 13,000 there is some ice and snow built up on the eastern aspects from the wind/freeze-thaw cycle during the day. Came down the cable route and it isn't too far off being able to stick a pick into it. Little slippery to say the least. Absolutely no problems below 13,000 though. |  FLAG |

| I just called the RMNP backcountry office. They said the snow has pretty much melted off unless it's a sheltered (shady) aspect. If the weather stays favorable I am planning to head up there this weekend for some ridge routes (though not in GG proper) and will report back. |  FLAG |
