A Very Not Snowy Christmas...
The RMF Summer Picnic is Sunday August 12th at Chatfield Hollow State Park in Killingworth Ct
Join us for a full day of climbing, hiking, swimming, and food. It's our way of saying thanks to all those whose contributions help keep Ragged open. Whether it through memberships, donations, trail work, cleanup, special projects, helping others, picking up trash, or just being considerate of the neighbors, we truly appreciate all your efforts.

The RMF will provide the usual assortment of burgers, dogs, veggie burgers, soda, beer, etc. Come hungry! If you have special food or drink requirements, a favorite dessert, salad or side dish, bring it along and feel free to share. Grills are usually fired up between 1:00 - 2:00.

Climbing: We will set up as many ropes as we can - feel free to bring your own setups as well. Climbing usually begins around 10:00.

Who: Members, past members, soon to be members, family and friends. Everyone is welcome.

Directions: Chatfield Hollow State Park is in Killingworth CT on RT 80. We usually try to gather on the SW side of the lake, as close to the orange trail leading to the cliffs as possible. (close to the field near the exit). You can park outside and walk in from the cliff, or pay the fee to drive in.

For complete directions - Map Chatfield Hollow State Park, Killingworth, CT or check the Rock Climbing CT Guidebook or Mountain Project

If you are unsure of the weather or have questions, you can check for updates on facebook or send email to information@raggedmtn.org.
