Description Róka Hegy (Fox Hill or Mountain) is an old limestone quarry. There are 22 routes listed in the Magyarország Sziklamászó Kalauza (Climbing Guide of Hungary) but there are a number of newer routes put up as well which are not included in the guide. The height of the routes varies between 8 and 22 meters (26 to 72 feet). The routes are well equipped with bolts and have chain anchors at the top. Climbing is only allowed between the hours of 6AM and 8PM or sunset. There is a water pump right before the little parking area.
Getting There Take the HÉV commuter rail line to the Csillaghegy stop. You can actually see the lower quarry from here. You'll be standing right at the start of the Ürömi út. Walk up the hill and keep following the Ürömi út until you reach the Rókahegyi út. Follow this to the right until you see a small parking area and a trail leading to the upper quarry.

| We followed the directions, but couldn't locate the crag. No climbing in Hungary for us. Off to Romanian and climbing for sure. |
