Description

Area that has been left a bit for dead these past few years. It`s remote, it`s wild, it`s a great way to disconnect.
Probably best to plan a multi-day trip with a bunch of friends and enjoy the tent platforms near the cliffs.

A lot of the work done in the area are thanks to Jean-Philippe Henri, Dominic Asselin and many more.

The FQME is planning to have their yearly late summer event (Festiroc 2015) there so hopefully wilderness will be tamed a bit, trails cleared etc.

Getting There

The Entrance into that section of the parc in between Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci and Saint-Cômes on the 347.
From Montreal, take highway 440 east to highway 25 North.
In Saint-Esprit take highway 125 North.
Take the 347 East in Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci (last place to get cash before reaching the parc).
After you pass the bridge and see Lac Blanc on your left, keep your eyes open for a turn-off into the parc on your right (gravel road).
