Description Suggest change

This is a short cliff band that has been toproped and bouldered. Secluded. Need lots of static line to toprope up here. The rock is less polished than what you'd find at nearby Carderock or Great Falls cliffs. It's worth seeing once or twice, but certainly not a destination crag.

Getting There Suggest change

Upstream from the northernmost parking lot. Walk the trail north, into the state park. The short rock band will be about 40 feet uphill on the left. There are highballs and topropes all over this giant boulder.

--This wall can be accessed from River Bend Park, which is north of Great Falls Park. Thus it is a good place to go when Great Falls is too full to get in. If you go that way you just follow the river trail downstream and you will see it on your right shortly before you get to the border with Great Falls Park.
