This was a cool problem, not sure what it is calle...

Description

Best in the spring or fall but can be climbed all year around. As of now, local climbers are not inspired to boulder(I don't blame them!), so the area is usually empty.

Getting There

Located in Northwest Seoul. Take Line number 3, the orange line, to Gupabal Station. Once you arrive at Gupabal head to the Pukhasan exit and jump on a local bus to the main entrance. There are more then a few busses that head to this area, just follow the folks with hiking poles. Head to the main entrance of the park and once passing the gates head left to the river. Follow the river up until you find the nice boulders lying in the riverbed.

Rands Direct V10+ 7C+  Asia : South Korea : River Beds
A great line on bullet stone in Seoul. A stiff crux starting on a pocket to a series of crimps. Lisa Rands was one of the first to try, in early 2008. I am not sure who the FA was done by, but the route is good for its grade....[more]   Browse More Classics in International

Great granite area. Would be popular anywhere. Have to do "first Love" (Pictured) and "Hermetic Arete".

Sadly, the entire lower section of this area is now closed to climbing for eco-restoration. The "Not Scott" area is still accessible.
