Description

This is one of the best beginner routes I have done in Maple, along with Bullets Over Bagdad. A really long and fun route with a nice view from the top. It follows the left side of a black arete and so it stays shaded until late morning, unlike the other routes at Early Bird Crag.

Location

This route lies at the far south end of the Early Bird Crag. Walk all the way up along the east facing wall until you see a north facing arete directly in front of you. The route is separated from the main wall by another shorter, unbolted arete.

Protection

13 bolts to chains.

Way to go Noah! Correction on the description: it's a south facing arete on the far north (uphill) side of the Early Bird Crag.

PS: Noah was 12 when he did the FA of this new route!
