Ian Campbell crimping on Stump

Description

Southeast facing crags across the highway and slightly north from Chek. A mix of good moderates and more difficult lines with a few trad climbs too.

Getting There

Drive past (north of) the Conroy Creek FSR about 500m and park in the giant pullout. Cross the highway safely to a cairn and follow the trail up the hill past Stump Wall to Ripple Tower and This is Your Brain or cut hard right to a fixed rope in a gully for Speedway area.

Where the crack dies out, move right onto a featured face, traversing past one bolt, then up a line of holds past four more bolts. The last bolt below the top has a hangerless bolt next to it (old station).
