Regular Route of Half Dome,

I am looking for a partner who wants to climb Regular Route of Half Dome in one day. First day we meet and practice on a 4-5 pitch climb to get familiar with each other. Second day we complete the approach and sleep at the base. Third day we climb the whole thing. I would also be open to bivy at Big Sandy Ledge.

Anytime between Sept20-28 works best for me. Otherwise mid October.

No aid, just French through the tough sections.

If your not going to aid any of the route and plan on French Freeing the route will be much more enjoyable in a day which is quite normal to do. go single pitch and leave the bivy gear. sleeping on Big Sandy is a waste of time.

Go light and fast, one rope and blast. You will probably be more likely to find partners if you want to do it in a day.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
