Description Suggest change

Whiteman Falls was the first route done in the drainage in 1979. In 1993, Barry Blanchard, Joe Josephson, and Tim Pouchay put in a mixed climb in the same drainage. Blanchard - a "seventh-generation descendent of the leader of the Métis at the battle of Seven Oaks in the early 1800s" and at the time, one of the best alpinists on the planet - named the route 'Redman' Soars as a play on words with the nearby Whiteman Falls.

Redman Soars is the mixed line in the corner to the right of Whiteman Falls. The route starts up the corner on somewhat blank rock, clipping, a couple pins to the arete.  Follow the arete to the ice, and then continue on to a bolted belay.  Multiple bolted belays exist, but the route can be climbed in a single pitch.
