Description
Red Storm Rising surfs up the side of one of the biggest boulders at Area 51. It starts on the far left side and works all the right to the apex of the boulder and tops out for a "true" ascent.
This route is very crimpy, with some sweet body tension and heel hooks. It never gets very tall, unless you consider the walk off top out.
It generally gets very dirty from all the trees around so a good brush and some elbow grease are essentials.

Location
after coming down the trail, you'll come across two bolted routes (end of the innocence, and curse of the drill). right behind these routes you'll see two very big boulders, one very tall and thin and one very large and wide. Red Storm Rising is on the fat wide one. It is on the left hand side of the boulder. I posted some beta pictures so you know what it looks like.
