Red Rocks Lodging Advice
I will be visiting Red Rocks for the first time in April and could use some advice regarding a place to stay. |
The Bonnie Springs motel is a long way from restaurants, grocery stores, or any stores. Plus, I've heard it's not too good. You can get a motel room in west Las Vegas and still be only fifteen or twenty minutes from the entrance to the loop road. |
Bonnie Springs is ummm, quaint. Would not be my first choice of places to stay. That being said I do like sitting around the fireplace in their bar. |
Went about a month ago and stayed at La Quinta. Nothing special but relatively cheap, about 15-20 minutes to the Red Rock entrance, and close enough to food and grocery stores. |
I've stayed at the Suncoast Casino (Summerlin) for a few climbing trips. It is convenient, cheap, and close to commerce. Staying there again in a few weeks. |
My partner last week found a lovely room with private bath in Summerlin (upscale neighborhood, closest you can get to Red Rocks) for only $50/night thru Airbnb. |
Thank you for your responses. I appreciate the information, it is extremely helpful. |

This is the specific place my partner stayed at through airbnb. She said the couple hosting it are quiet and friendly and the accommodations very comfortable. $50/night and super close to RR. |

That place on Summerlin sounds great. Would some with and Airbnb account care to check availability for me (weekend of 11-7 thru 11-9)? |
