Recommendations for Ice Climbing near Saratoga Springs

Hi Guys!

I am planning a trip Upstate NY this weekend and I was hoping to get some ice climbing in. Can anyone recommend any good routes near Saratoga Springs that would go on TR? looking for stuff up to WI4/4+

Do you think Starbuck Mtn is a good choice? If yes does anyone have conditions update for this area?

Crane and Starbuck both have options (people were just climbing at Starbuck on Sunday, okay conditions). Crane's best ice climbing is most easily accessible from private land.

There's one place just north of Saratoga and another in Schenectady that offer climbing, but I don't believe either are legal.

Since it will only be a bit over an hour away, look into Loch Ness in the high peaks area as well. Relatively easy top rope setups there. Just don't bash it to death, people also like to lead those routes.
