It is exciting to see the various community efforts to replace old or damaged bolts going on at and around Red Rocks and Southern Nevada. To maximize these efforts we thought it might be a good idea to organize a meeting of as many people as possible out there doing this very important work. The purpose of the meeting would be to get to know each other, discuss best practices, hardware, and optimal ways to keep the momentum going. We can also discuss how to best organize our efforts and address any challenges being faced. We know there are a good amount of people out there doing this critical work, and it is appreciated. We're fortunate to have RD Pascoe from ClimbTech who's agreed to join us for this meeting. No doubt we can benefit from his experience.
The meeting will be at Xavier's House (9813 Bearpaw Ave) on February 19th at 6:30 PM and some snacks will be provided.
I'm just a visiting climber, but I was on Hamlet maybe 2 days ago and did the 10 and 11 toward the left side. I distinctly remember one of the hangers being a spinner as well.
