The Boulder Climbing Community (BCC) is proud to have started a fixed anchor replacement initiative, which will focus on replacing old and unsafe bolts throughout the Boulder/Front Range area. We will be hosting a crag facelift day this Saturday, July 13th at Anarchy Wall in Clear Creek. We will meet at 8:30am at the pullout near the mouth of the canyon and carpool up (others are welcome to simply meet at the wall). Climbers with drills and know-how to replace bolts are encouraged to come, as are people new to bolt replacement and looking to learn how to do it - there will be people there to teach you! To sign up, or for more information, please RSVP with Jason Haas at jason@fixedpin.com Jason Haas

I was there this weekend and thought it would be a perfect fit for your program Jason! I'll be at the ICF in Lander, but thanks to all who help with this. Adam Sanders

I have a drill and am willing to donate some time.

"there will be people there to teach you!"

Are you asking climbers with experience to teach "how to re-bolt?" or are you stating there will be people there to teach, and climbers with know-how are needed to simply replace bolts?

Conner and Ryan, I emailed you guys back.

Ryan - climbers with experience are welcome to teach if you're volunteering. We already have a long list of experienced developers there that are willing to teach others, but the more knowledge we can all share, the better. So if you're interested in doing the work, or teaching, we've got a spot for you!

Thanks to everyone that came and helped out - it couldn't have gone better. Well, ok, we could have done without the massive rain storms...
