Description
Named after the expansion bolts that speckle it, the Rawl Wall encompasses everything right of Midnight Fright but left of the obvious low angle gully that splits Lightning Dome. Its upper left corner is capped by a large white roof.
Getting There
Park at a large pullout at mile 21.1. Cross the highway to a road cut and scramble up a left trending ramp to the trail. Turn right above the road cut and saunter across the grassy hillside to the base of the prominent, low angle gully.
Descent
From the top, walk to climberÂ’s right and scramble down the gully to the highest tree. Two or three single rope rappels from trees and a slung block deposit you on the ground at the base of the gully.
