I'm in Newport, VT. I'm ok to lead sport 5.9 and can follow 10s but I don't have a trad rack...have followed a ton of trad in WV and have taken classes. I'm hoping to follow more and get more comfortable w it...just need someone to push me a bit :-)

You live really close to the border. To reach climbers from Québec (Sherbrooke) to go climbing in Orford (in Magog), Pinnacle (in Coaticook), etc., you can check out the Facebook group Escalade Sherbrooke.
There is a dynamic climbing community in Sherbrooke and you are very likely to find some partners.

You're welcome! :)
Here is the topo for Pinnacle: cercledesgrimpeurs.com/docu…
And some information on Orford:
thecrag.com/climbing/canada…
There is another small crag called Lac Larouche (trad). Topo here:

If you want to go climbing indoors, there is a nice gym in Sherbrooke, called Vertige. It is in a restored Church and you can climb on the arches.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
