Description Suggest change

We dropped in to the corner about 50' from base and traversed to a tree on the open left side. Set a belay. Wander up face to small roof then toward corner for gear. Proceed up corner past a couple of bushes to good tiered ledges set belay, 5.6.

At this point, we did a short lead up the wall on right to a tree and TR the 10+ crack 20' back down the corner.

Continue second pitch up corner to double roof exit on the right past 2 chockstones, 5.6.

Location Suggest change

As you drive past CR 47 the entrance to Big Elk bouldering the corner will come into view on your left when heading toward Estes Park. Continue for 0.7 miles to a pullout on the left. Hike uphill for 0.8 miles on the right side until you are able to traverse left to base or near base of corner.

Protection Suggest change

SR + #4 and/or #4.5.
