Is there a real benefit to training on the PVC sloper campus board that many gyms have now? There is a lot of training literature on using the normal campus rungs, but not much on PVC slopers. Does anyone have a link to one?
Something tells me my time is better spent training open handed grip on the normal campus rungs. Am I wrong?
I have 3 inch diameter at my home wall. The angle is 17 degrees so it's a challenge. I know it's going to work the shoulders and back opposed to pure finger strength.
I think I'll use the PVC slopers to mix up the training routine, but keep the focus on the typical wooden rungs.
