Hello all!!

On June 26th (2 pm and 6 pm) there will be an open house on the Proposed Scenic Loop Improvements presented by Federal Lands, CH2M Hill (design-construction firm) and BLM. This will be the kick-off of more meetings to come dealing with the Scenic Loop. Please spread the word and save the date. Although we have not been given details just yet, the meetings will likely be held at the visitor center. We'll post an update as soon as we receive more information.

Save the date!!!

We have more details! The BLM will be hosting public meetings on Thurs, June 26 at 2pm and 6pm at the Red Rock Visitor Center classroom. These informational meetings will provide an overview of proposed 13-Mile Scenic Drive and visitor center parking lot improvements. The public comment period for the Environmental Assessment on these projects will be open from June 11 through July 11, 2014.

NOTE: If you do not have a pass, let the attendant at the fee booth know you are there for the meeting & the fee will be waived.

We'll continue to post additional information as we receive it.

Mark your calendars!
