Edge of Time

Went to the climbing store today to pick up some 6mm Mammut Pro Cord. They were out and said that Mammut stopped production on Pro Cord. Anyone know if this is true? What do you use for your cordelette?

huh, heard back from Mammut- they are indeed discontinuing the pro cord. damn shame, if you ask me, but apparently the stuff costs more than they can sell it for....

I stopped by the Mammut store in Berlin hoping to get 60m of 6mm (unfortunately, they didn't have a long enough piece). I asked about the fate of Pro Cord. They said that it will be still be manufactured, but only sold in precut (cordelette) lengths. Also, that you *might* be able to get longer lengths through special order.

Yeah, they no longer sell it in the states. DRS had a spool for awhile- I shipped a bunch to my friends, but I dont know how much longer they'll have it in stock.
