Private Pizza Wall from the parking lot

A nice wall with quite a few routes and some good cragging potential on solid Wingate Sandstone. Private Pizza is the original classic of the wall, but there have been many routes put up since then making it an ideal cragging location. The routes are generally from 60 to 80 feet long.

Getting There

A few hundred yards north of Haagenschlong on the same side of Buckhorn Wash is located the Private Pizza Wall. There is a good pullout/camping area right below the wall on the east side of the Buckhorn Wash road.

This is a great introduction to crack climbing. Climb the double cracks in the corner to a good rest and some interesting/funky crack climbing above the rest to get to a two bolt belay anchor. This is a great route to practice some crack techniques because you can climb it many different ways practicing some different types of crack climbing. Good route with good rock....[more]   Browse More Classics in UT
