| I just got done dealing with Princeton Tec's customer service department and i cannot be happier. I had totally beaten down my Apex headlamp (for 2 1/2 years, trips to South America, Alaska, beaten to hell). I broke off all the clip devices that hold the straps onto the battery pack and light itself and was bummed, figuring they wouldn't replace any of it after that much time and abuse. After a quick 3 week stint with my lamp in their shop I received it back today. Instead of repairing it they sent me a brand new one, in box, with batteries for no charge.
