Heading to Potrero this Fri-Wed and it looks like it may be raining a lot of the time. From what iv'e read, it looks like there isn't a weather station there and you kind of gauge by Monterrey's weather.

Anyway, anyone have pointers on:
- What to do in Potrero during bad weather?
- Areas to climb where light rain wouldn't be too much of an issue?

Kinda bummed since this trip has been planned for a while and the dates aren't flexible.

Outrage Wall, steeper part of Las Estrellas, Surf Bowl, among a few.

The weather does look kind of bad...
But often time the weather in the town and the weather in the canyon (2 miles away) can be very different. There are a few places that stay dry in light rain (Surf Bowl, Outrage) and the Plutonia Cave (bouldering) stays dry and warm in almost any weather.
If its too cold, you can hit up the hot springs, which are about an hour drive, or head into MTY for some sightseeing.

Is monterrey the closest weather station? I'm heading there next saturday and it looks foreboding in monterrey

Like the person above me found, last year when i was there it was raining in hidalgo and we climbed out of the cloud around pitch 3 of Yankee Clipper and had a full day of sun (which left me sunburned because I'm an idiot).

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
