Hiya, I mentioned it in another thread but hopefully its okay to start another.

I'll be in Portland (staying SE) sep 8th - sep 18th and november 4th - november 14th and i'm looking to meet up with anyone who might want to have a climb in the portland area.

Good things:
+ Will have most of a trad rack (leaving big cams and hexes at home tho).
+ Have climbed trad for a few years, (incident free) totally cool to climb with and teach beginners the trad basics if they want (as long as they're being safe and chill to hang out with)
+ Totally down to climb easy stuff. At this point I'd prefer to keep it under 5.8
+ Basically free every day, don't have many plans.

Bad things:
- Recovering from a badly broken arm / dislocated shoulder combo and the loss of fitness that came with it so would only be up for climbing easy shit (no reachy stuff, overhangs / really bouldery stuff)
- Don't have room to pack a rope. I may buy one over there though.
- May have access to my girlfriends little truck but hate driving on the Right-hand side of the road so you'd have to be cool with helping out as co-pilot.

So yah ... hit me up on (5O3) 3I7-2334

Cheers,
Brenton.

climbing friend,

Good luck! If you are able to finding a partner of the climbing rocks, they would probably have a thin mustache, overly tight black pants, a general air of casual depression, brew their own home brew beer, and attempt to wear ironic t shirts.

Close Aleks, close. Rather than a thin mustache, they will sport a full beard, yet neatly trimmed. ;)

they could rock up to the crag on a unicycle whilst playing a trombone and i'd still be cool as long as they know how to belay haha.

Hit me up when you get to Portland. seems like we will have good weather rest of week and weekend.

Sorry to disappoint but no hipster stash or ironic tshirts and my unicycle skills aren't strong enough yet to carry my rack and rope.

Really hoping to bail from work early today and do some climbing this afternoon. Im looking for a partner for some easy, fun stuff (.7-.10 range, only thing i ask is you are comfortable on belay). I have gear rope and transportation. Im fairly flexible about time and place but was hoping to leave Portland around 2-3 and head to Ozone. However, im up for whatever.

Shit, only just rechecked this thread. Sorry guys.

I'm back in November, if the weather isn't too shitty I'll repost and see if anyones still keen to climb.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
