Access Issue: Private Property Details

Burney Limestone is technically on private property that is owned by Bear Gulch Quarry. There have been access concerns in the past between climbers and the landowners, although it has been many years. Please respect the area, keep a low profile, and leave it cleaner than you found it.

Description

This route is 10 meters of fun pockets and crimps. The crux is at the start from 2 underclings, leading to hidden pockets up a little higher.

Location

This route is the first route on the left side wall as you enter the cave from the Main Wall. It is hard to locate the bolts initially until your eyes adjust to the lower light levels of the cave.

Protection

4 bolts and a 2 bolt anchor with chains for the lower off.
It's possible to clip the first bolt from a large boulder, prior to starting the route down a little lower. Highly recommended due to a poor landing if you fell before making the clip.
