Description

First of all, this route is on "The Clump". "The Clump" is not listed in the selection. The first time I led this route it was by car headlights which was a little silly. It's in the center of the southwest face of the formation. It's steep and a bit overhanging, and requires close attention to gear placement. It's also a bit grainy so test placements.

The SW Face of The Clump is also called Spider Wall. It is mismarked as "Palmreader Wall" in the picture on page 519 of Randy's 1992 guidebook.

Seemed harder than 5.8. The buckets to the left are fun.
