Made to be broken

Does anyone know if there's poison ivy now growing abundantly at frustration creek?

It's my understanding that California doesn't have poison ivy, just poison oak. Never been to Frustration, so don't know if there's any PO there.

Like was said, there is no poison ivy there, but plenty of poison oak. Luckily, hard working locals have gotten rid of all of the poison oak near the bases of all the climbs with the exception of Swamp Thing. There is still a lot of it growing between The Expedition and Swamp Thing though. All of the middle and upper tier are poison oak free.

actually (for any bio/plant dorks that care), recent research has suggested that poison ivy and poison oak are the same species, but take on different forms depending upon growing conditions.

Not sure I believe that, I've gotten a rash from poison oak before, bet I've never had a reaction to any Poison Ivy, and I just had to wade through knee + high Poison Ivy in a canyon here in AZ (in shorts and Chacos) to replace a shitty anchor

Seconds before onsighting Gun Smoke V3, Joshua Tree bouldering

I was just there last week and not much poison oak. There IS some poison oak in the middle and upper tier but they're away from any start of the climbs, except for the ones said above.
