Description Suggest change

There are multiple lines of ascent up the falls, weather and ice dependent. In good conditions, the left side of the falls offers a short vertical start to slabby, 60-70 degree climbing, followed by a stretch of more vertical ice to the top.

Location Suggest change

From the parking at the winter road closure of Platte Cove Rd. (Co. Rd. 16), backtrack west on the road until you find the trail heading off to your left (by the red house). Follow the trail in, eventually heading right where the trail splits. The trail heads down into the clove, ending at the kill near the bottom of Plattekill Falls, to your right.
