Will the apes wall by dry enough to climb by tomorrow or does the stone need longer do dry out?

Not sure, but I don't think the apes wall is steep enough to be dry right now. The rock at Malibu Creek is fairly dense and doesn't absorb a LOT of water, but generally it gets sloppy when the pockets are all filled with water, etc.

If you are trying to climb at Malibu Creek today, the steeper stuff toward the Ghetto will probably be better and maybe pretty dry after a couple hrs of sun this morning/afternoon.

Apes wall is so steep that you can climb in a downpour.... done that.

The problem is this, during long rains, the stone gets soaked and the pockets fill with water and that makes them like soft mud and they fail.

The streambed stone stays solid... even when under water. There are some good TR's in the stream bed.

Its has not been raining that hard... go for it.
