Access issues at the Lower Malamute. MORE INFO >>>
Much of the Lower Malamute falls into CN Rail's right-of-way. More accurately, the starts of many of the climbs fall into this region. See this link for more details: www.access-society.ca/regions/squamish/areas/lower-malamute Also, see Kevin McLane's 2006 edition of his Squamish Guidbook to see a image of what is and isn't accessible.
This information is a public crowdsourcing effort between the Access Fund,
and Mountain Project. You should confirm closures, restrictions, and/or related dates.

Description This obvious splitter crack is the first route you will encounter in the Chasing Rainbows area. It is straightforward jamming until it splits into two cracks and it becomes a jug haul. A little mossy. There isn't much reason to be down here unless you're climbing 10+, so I will throw in that you cannot get to the anchors of any other climbs from the top of this one.
Location Left of Coronary Corner. First climb encountered in Chasing Rainbows area.
Protection Gear to 2". Two-bolt anchor with chains.
