Description

high north facing crag in the elkhorn mountains of north eastern oregon. the rock climbing is on compact limestone - ok waterice/mixed in the basin during winter.

Getting There

from haines oregon head west to pocohantas lane. turn west to ben dier road towards the range and turn right onto pine creek road. follow this high clearance boulder track several miles. try not to get stuck it is 5.11 4 wheeling and very isolated in terms of vehicle recovery. currently - private land will be encountered and owner contact info is on the gate. do not drive the road if there is a snow machine track. public lands are up the road a stretch.
