BETA PHOTO: Stein West.

Description

Start at the big low slopers at the arete. Make a hard move up and left to the pebbles and then a harder, shoulder wrenching move to the pinch/undercling at the roof then use the big flat edges up and left to top out. If you use the right hand side-pull on the starting sloper the first move is easier, but the crux is the same.

Location

The route is on the big arete at the southwest corner of the Stein boulder. Start under the 6 foot high roof and climb out the left side.

Protection

A pad and possibly a start pad.
