Description
This is a small mountain located east of CO Hwy 7, northeast of Meeker Park. There are various granitic crags in the area. At least one is of modest proportion to perhaps justify the efforts to climb here. Written information about prior ascents have been somewhat challenging to find; however, clearly others have tread here before. Note, the area does have significant off highway vehicle use which may impact the auditory experience. In addition, the area surrounding is National Forest and is used by hunters during hunting season.
This could also be organized under North Fork of the St. Vrain River.

Getting There
You can approach this area by a variety of paths. Most will require moderate hiking, a off highway vehicle, or high clearance 4WD.
From Estes Park, you can drive south off US 36 (just east of Lake Estes) on Fish Creek Rd. Go uphill on Little Valley going east. Follow the signs for Forest Access. There is a parking area a short way up FS 119, but you will have a decent rock step to negotiate.
From Meeker Park (south of Estes Park), you can go east on 82 Rd. Note, this splits ~1 mile in. Follow 82E for another mile or so to FS 119. Go north. The road gets significantly more rugged from that point.
