DescriptionThis area has five routes to date from the main buttress of Flight of the Bumblebee (13a) over to Primate Tools (11a). The two routes on the main buttress are long, awe-inspiring lines with great views of the canyon. Getting ThereOnce at the main trail walk about 3 minutes to the left, passing the obvious Iron Horse wall. Follow a faint trail from the left of the Iron Horse wall that meanders up the hillside to reach the big white and black streaked buttress. The route goes up a huge, detached block of blue/black weathered limestone which leans against the main wall. Smeary opening moves lead to a few bolts of easier climbing followed by a stance before a committing, yet well protected high-step move. A series of underclings followed by more delicate slab moves leads to chains at the top of the slab.
