I'm looking for a new harness, and have had the hardest time finding one that fits. I'm 5'2" and 105 lbs. I have a very barebones harness now, and am looking for something with a little more padding/comfort. Any suggestions? Jeanne Whisler

Have you tried the Petzl Selena? I am 105, 5'1", normal portions and love this harness. SMR

I have a friend that had trouble for a long time with the same issue. This year she got the Loopo by Edelrid in XS and she loves it. Looking at the sight now only the Loopine comes in extra small. I don't know if they stopped making the Loopo in XS but she does have one.

She originally purchased jay harness and it fit ok. However the location of gear loops had gear hang uncomfortably.

She is 5'7" and 105-110.

misty will even build you a custom one if you need it. i have a 4'10" 80lb friend who got hers built special for her.

that said, the Edelrid Jay in a small goes down pretty tiny- worth a look.

I have a misty mountain - use it for multi-pitches and it's really comfy. But I am 4'10", weight undisclosed but let's just say I have a higher BMI, for now, and wear the Misty Mountain Finesse in XS and it fits fine. So I am wondering if it is too big for you...

The Arc'teryx XS, Metolius XS and Black Diamond XS fit me great. So for someone who is really tiny they may be too big.

Can fit the Singing Rock XS but it's pushing it.

For really tiny girls I suggest the Petzl XS (some models) and the Edelrid XS... I can barely fit those.

I love my Petzl Selena. It's comfy on multi pitch, sport, trad and it's held up really well. 3 years old and looks great. I'm 5'4" 115 and wear a small so xs would probably fit you great! snicho

Aiding. Photo by Locker.
Just bought a Black Diamond XS for my girlfriend's daughter (4'10"' 90 lbs), and it fits her great. I forget the name, but it's that $65 Black Diamond women's harness they sell everywhere. teece303

If you climb like a good friend of mine, you should REALLY consider getting a Metolius "Safe Tech".

LOL!

I'd recommend the BD Primose Women's harness. It's like their basic/cheapest one, but it has everything you'd want, is durable, and comes in an extra-small-----which is good, because every other harness I've tried the waist is too big (even the same harness, in a small.) The extra small is perfect. KDog
