Description

There was a guide called Bouldering and Buildering in the South Bay or something like that put out in the 80's. I found a copy in the Stanford Library. Anyhow, Stanford is sandstone traverses. Second is Blach Junior High School gym in Los Altos California. The school is being renovated so I'm not sure if it's still any good. Anyway, I have what I consider a few first ascents here on the blocky masonry walls. There are 4 top out buildering problems.

Getting There

To get to Blach Jr. High - to get there from 880, take 880 to237 west which turns into Grant. Take a right on Covington Rd. in Los Altos, CA. Take 85 to El Camino, exit and go North. Turn left on Grant, then right on Covington.Or, Take 237 west until it turns into Grant, turn right on Covington.
