  • Description

50 ft cliffs with 10 routes in, some trad, some mixed and some fully bolted. Anchors were used sparingly (?) at the tops of some routes, so some creativity will be in order for certain routes. Numbering begins from the left with Perfect Handcrack (# 15).

    Getting There

Hike South to the middle of the ridge line to an out-crop of boulders just preceding the taller cliffs that form the main walls.

Looking at the moves past the first bolt. The first bolt, right of Luke's head, is pretty high off the ground, but there is a good hidden hold to clip from, so the clip is not as bad as it looks from the ground.

Older style sport climb (meaning you are doing interesting moves above the bolts) with challenging opening moves to the 1st bolt and then continuous thin edging and pebble pinching. Intimidating runout after 3rd bolt but a hidden ledge halfway to the anchors eases your fears. Good intro to the face climbing to be found on this rock....[more]   Browse More Classics in CO
