Worth taking a look at the Piton Hybrid as well. $100 and change on line.

Was looking at getting a backup to my R1 Hoody (1st generation!), it has served me very well but starting to show its age. The newer versions of the R1 just aren't the same, the thumb loops now look like an afterthought with that thick turnback/seam in the middle of your palm.
Patagonia had come out with the Cap 4 hoody, but they seem to be discontinuing it (or getting rid of it for summer).

I'm trying to find a deal on the Piton Hybrid, if the fit is similar, I'll be a happy man again, too bad it's a full zip.

If you want a wool version, I've seen that Smartwool makes one. It's a little pricey though.
