Partners in the northern LA/Antelope Valley area willing to help a new guy

Hey, I moved out here last year and have been trying to find any experienced climbers that could show me the ropes of outdoor climbing in the area. Most of my experience comes from indoor climbing and top roping at the Gunks in NY. I'm planning on taking lessons from a guide to get me started, and am looking for partners to go from there. If anybody is going to be out and about in the area, let me know.

To find climbing partners you need to go to where climbers gather, you might wish to try Stoney Point in Chatsworth
Or maybe go to the Wagon Wheel boulders....
Or Horse Flats
Or The BMX aka hi-desert ....
