I'm a trad climber and a backpacker getting into ultralight long distance backpacking, and would love to keep the climbing in the loop. Would love a partner to do long backcountry days with. Think, East Face/East Buttress of Whitney, and the like. Ideally C2C in a day.

I should add I prefer to not lead but follow. Am experienced, efficient. Will at this point be comfortable w/ multipitch up through 10s.

Hi Marina,

I am a backpacker who recently go into climbing. Last season I did a lot of weekend trips in the Sierras, mostly 2-3 class. This year I would love to do more technical climbs and Whitney East Buttress is on my list. I can't lead yet but I can lead belay and follow up to 5.9 so far. I've hiked San Jacinto via Marion Mountain and Aerial Tramway but not via C2C. Message me if you need a partner for this summer.

Hi Ming! Thanks for replying! I'm looking for someone who leads, as I prefer not to, unfortunately.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
