Park at the Royal River Park. MORE INFO >>>

Description

There are numerous little spots and even more when the river is low. They are very undeveloped, so it will take some work to make them climbable. The rock is good quality and well featured. The small island across from the bouldering, known as Gooch Island, is in the process of becoming an extension of Royal River Park. Just be cautious of houses in the area and park users. Get to work!

Getting There

Exit the Royal River Park and head right on Elm St. Cross the green bridge and take a right on Melissa. Take your next right on the dirt road which is Park St. Follow the road until it becomes a trail. At this point, you can see the rock on the left side of the river.

Little Wing V3-  ME : Royal River Bouldering : Park St. Public Way
This problem is long, very funy, hossy, involves a heel hook or two, and is located on the Spoonman boulder. Start at right side of the lowest part of the boulder on the little, flat shelf where a coffe mug would rest perfectly. Climb left out and under the small roof to a huge flat ledge and then begin the crux sequence. top out on the obvious block....[more]   Browse More Classics in ME
