Description Suggest change

due south from the NPS northeast gate.
this route is within Yellowstone National Park.

a nice wide ice wall with much potential for TR, and mixed play.
far left is easiest, WI3 can often be squeezed out.

Location Suggest change

from the village of Silver Gate, where you will park, go south on the local plowed street directly across from Silvertip Mtn sports. go 2 blocks and where the road bends left, you turn right.

follow a popular local ski trail for 2 miles thru the forest until you can see the ice approx. 400 years above you to the left.
or
park near the NPS entry area, and ski due south to find the same location.

Protection Suggest change

pure ice or bring a full single rock rack to tackle the shitty rock in the M5 chimney to the right.
