| Dear all, I'm considering climbing at the Fork for a day or two in mid March (15 and/or 16), but a photo from March years back shows snow in the canyon. So I'm wondering whether it's a good time to visit the Fork? Thanks, Zoey | FLAG |

| In general, we dont plan trips to the Forks until late May, early June. Elevation is such that temps arent great for us until then. I suppose the locals could be a bit more in depth, but I imagine the road conditions arent stellar and the snow will still be around up there. | FLAG |

| just kinda depends on the year. you could climb there all winter if the roads didnt get all nasty snowy. As long as they are clear then you should be fine to climb in the sun. That can be a bit limiting since some really good routes are in the shade. I didnt live there this past winter so maybe someone else can give a road condition report. When all else falls the waterfall is really nice then. | FLAG |
